| Location: Mesa,AZ,USA Member Since: Jul 30, 2007 Gender: Female Goal Type: Unknown Running Accomplishments: 'Just started! -Again! Short-Term Running Goals: Increase my energy levels so that I can keep up with my demanding jobs (Mother of Five, Wife of Father of Five, Chef, Housekeeper, Uncertified Phone Counselor, to name a few:).
Strengthen my heart and improve my circulation.
Grow some muscles! (It's about time!)
Run four miles at once... sometime in the next 2 yrs, anyway. :) Long-Term Running Goals: I'd like to still have the strength and energy to do things when I'm old. I'd also like to stay in one peice until then! Personal: I have been married almost 9 years to Practically-Perfect Jeremy. We have five dear children 7yo and under. I rollerbladed as a teenager. For 18 mo, I walked a few times a week until about a year ago. I tried running w/ wonderful running partner last year, but that tapered off. We had a hard time matching schedules and I wasn't committed enough to do it alone. After an inspiring meeting with Sasha and Sarah, I am recommitted to regular exercise. I may run, or I may fast-walk. The point is to get MOVING, again. Please bear with my pitiful mileage. Supermommy runs all day, and doing that properly is my #1 priority. |

| I didn't feel rested when I woke up, because I went to sleep at too late of an hour. It was later than normal & later than when I was feelin' it. This is interesting because it would be enough time for me, normally. I feel good even if I only get 7hrs, if I go to sleep as early as I feel I can. I walked my 3 at-home girls to the mailbox and back today (not to mention through 2 stores), but all that mileage (whatever it adds up to) should be called ultra-slow miles. We walked a slow 3yr old's speed. hehe I wonder how she'd do if I ran some with her... It'd have to be on grass, probably... It might help her get more energy. |

| Ew. This was bad. Ok, do NOT start whitening your teeth right before bed. At first you think, hey, I can wait half an hour, then I won't have to worry about it tomorrow. After you've worn them a little while, you realize you are supposed to wear them a second half hour, and your night goes "downhill from there." I am not talking about running downhill. hehe For runners, this would translate to, "uphill from there." It was a crazy day and I spent way more time thinking about it and getting ready for it this past week than I should have. Next weekend I'll know better and will chill. I am so excited for my son to be baptized, and it's the perfect day to chill, with both sides of the complicated family coming, and all.:) That day is to be all about my son and the special promise he is making (and receiving). |
